How the light actually works
It all comes down to that 254nm wavelength. To hit that sweet spot, we use low-pressure mercury vapor lamps. When we talk about efficiency, we’re really just looking at how much power goes in versus how much UVC light actually comes out. Depending on how much space you have to work with, we can tweak the wattage. Want it faster? Bump up the wattage. More photons hitting the surface means you can cut down the “dwell time”—basically, the item doesn’t have to sit under the light nearly as long to get the job done.
We do the boring stuff, you build the brand
The engineering side of this is a grind. We handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on the business side of things. You tell us the lamp length and the connectors you need to fit your chassis. Whether you’re just replacing a part in an old system or building something totally new from scratch, we’ll adjust the quartz sleeve thickness and the gas fill to make sure the output is exactly where it needs to be. And yeah, we do full brand authorization. Your logo goes on the box and in the manuals. We keep the engineering rigorous; you keep the branding yours.
The “Catch”: Heat and Power
Here is the thing: high-intensity UV creates heat. A lot of it. If you try to cram maximum UVC output into a tiny box, you’re going to fry your ballasts. It happens. To stop that, you have to be smart about your cooling fans and heat sinks. If the air inside the casing gets too hot, the lamp output actually starts to drop. It’s a frustrating loop. We’ll work with you to find that balance between raw power and thermal limits so your hardware doesn’t burn out prematurely.
